Saved Reports in DCE missing after upgrade to 7.6.0

Hi there

I had a few reports saved that i run regularly. These are missing after I upgraded from DCE 7.5.0 to DCE 7.60.

Is this normal after upgrading?

can they be restored?

cheers

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

No, it's not normal and as far as I know you're the first to see such an issue.

Is there any specific detail that you can share so that we can attempt to reproduce the issue?

Is it just some reports that are missing? If so, do you know if there was anything specific about them (specific groups, sensor types, etc.

Are you seeing this in the thick client as well as the web client (if used)?

Were these reports associated with an export? Were the exports lost too?

Was anything else changed such as the sensors used in these reports?

If it's all reports, that should be easy enough to replicate.

There is no way to retrieve reports that have been removed (accidentally or purposefully). If you have a backup, the only way to get the reports back would be to restore to that version and re-import the backup. Assuming that's not what you want to do, you'd have to manually recreate them.

Steve.

Hi Steve

Thanks for getting back to me. There was nothing too specific about the reports themselves and I am not worried about them . i will recreate if required.

If i remember correctly we had about five that we had saved and they are all gone.

They were run just to see what was trending on our CRAC unit in regard to humidity. So the reports were set up to look at Return Humidity Sensor, Return Air Sensor, Dehumidifier on/off Humidifier run hour etc.

They are no longer showing in thick client or web client.

There was no Export involved.

cheers

Bruce

Thanks Bruce,

It's an odd one and I want to try and keep track of things like this in case others have similar issues. I've seen not reports get lost during upgrades other than this instance and I had a few when our 7.6 was upgraded and everything looks OK. Others have tested this and seen nothing so (I'm sorry to say  this since it happened to you)  hopefully it's isolated to this one upgrade.
