Do I need create a separate snmp device configuration template for every type of device or can I make use of the same template for all device ?
For example, I need to enable snmp v3 for all device, I notice that some device has more fields than other device (eg most rack PDU have Authentication Protocol & Encryption Protocol field while NB Rack Access PX HID doesn't). So Can I use the template with all fields even on those NB Rack Access PX HID without those fields ?

Hi Francis,
Your first question:
It is more of a matter of preference / standardization you want to do.
I usually try to minimize the number of templates using common template for applicable devices, and only create another template for specific group of devices that has different config.
I do not have the answer for your specific second question on applying SNMPv3 template with auth & encryption for Rack Access HID.
You may want to split it to 2 config template:
1.SNMP V3 template with auth & encryption, for majority of your devices.
2.Another template for SNMPv3 without auth & encryption for the remaining.
