Is there any off the shelf capability to have SBO push data centre grey space asset information to DCO? Pumps, chillers, gennies? Please provide details. If not, we will explore developing this via DCO ETL Import DB

Hi Ed,
To my knowledge is there no off the shelf solution for having SBO push data to DCO.
You will need to explore other possibilities.
Thank
Jesper

Jesper is right - no direct communication between SBO and DCO possible right now. However, SBO can feed Modbus data into DCE which in turn pushes data to DCO. There is a catch here however, SBO can expose only 1 Modbus slave address and hence DCE will see SBO as one modbus device. You can group underlying devices together in DCE.

Hi Ajay, we have tried a different route where we use Automation server directly with DCE in place of SBO which pretty much does all the work required via SBO and more cost effective...

Thanks Vineet! That works too..either individual ASes or one consolidated ES can feed data into DCE.
