Question we have added AD as an authentication Server in DCE, the AD server is responsive but we are not able to add any user in the Remote User group. This feature was working fine before we updated the server to Build: 7.2.7.25
any idea?

Marcello,
To add remote users and user groups into DCE you will need to go into your Authentication Server Settings and select the main authentication group folder. You will then need to edit this and go through the wizard. After a few screens you will be able to select your users/user groups to be added into DCE.
Best Regards,
Cory

Cory thanks the answer.
Unfortunately there is nothing there, no main authentication group folder which can be edited. The only wizard which can be started is the one from the Authentication Server it self which goes trough the AD or LDAP settings. As I already told you, this feature was working fine before we went trough the update??
Any Idea?

Try going through the main authentication server edit settings, which would be the last image above. If you select next a few times, it will take you to a screen that will allow you to select user and user groups to add to DCE.

Marcello, I am unsure why the settings were not carried over within an upgrade. Were you able to go through the Authentication server settings and re-select your users? Regards, Cory

Cory I really don’t know why the settings diapered after the upgrade I would say a bug in the current software rel. As I already pointed out in my previous email and attached pictures, I’m still not able to put user in a remote user group. If you don’t mind, can we please start a remote TeamViewer session, maybe next week?

Marcello, Please reach out to your local technical support team for a remote session. They should also be able to verify your software support and look at log files if necessary. Regards, Cory
