Hello,
I'm trying to configure the Remedy Connector to integrate it with DCO.
DCO is able to see the Remedy Server, and I tested that the Remedy Web Services are available and visible from the DCO machine. But when I try to test in the DCO the configuration, appears an alert that says that the server is inactive. Any suggestion about what I'm doing wrong?
Regards.

Hi Carlos,
What is the version of DCO and Remedy server? The latest version of DCO (currently 8.1) is really recommended, if not running that already.
I have just tested a fresh integration moment ago on DCO 8.1 without any problem, the following captures is to illustrate the steps (for a fresh integration), as highlighted (second capture) we need also to enter the Remedy Server Name:
Kind regards

We are using the DCO 7.5 and Remedy 8.1, and we can't change any version. The Remedy server is in a development environment and has a self signed certificate, I accepted the exception when I was been configurating the connector, but I looked in the logs and I found a exception when the server is trying to connect to Remedy.
ERROR [apc] [com.apc.itil.change.remedy.server.ws.RemedyServerFacadeImpl] (http-xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx-8080-20) error obtaining access to Remedy server xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.net javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
I tried to install the certificate into the JVM, but it doesn't works. Any suggestions?

Hi Carlos,
Many thanks for the update, I do recall that we had integration/communication issue(s) between DCO 7.5 and Remedy 8.1.
This integration issue is fixed in DCO 8, so my best commendation would be to upgrade the product to latest DCO version (currently 8.1).
Kind regards

Hi Jef,
Right now it's impossible to upgrade the version of DCO to 8.1.
Do you know any workaround to solve this issue in the 7.5 version, like install the self signed certificate or similar?
Regards.

Hello Jef,
Finally I solved the problem by manually installing the certificate in the cacerts of the JVM and restarting the server.
Kind regards
