Hi,
Is it possible in Ecostruxure IT Expert to draw a room layout with all the racks and then to draw each rack layout, choosing all the equipment available in SE Device Support list? If not is it possible in DCE? I am pretty sure it should be possible in DCO.
What confuses me is the status of devices in the Device Support feature page (http://sxwhelpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/devices). Most of listed devices are supported in DCE, some are supported in DCO and very few are supported in EcostruxureIT.
Regards, Branko

Dear Branko Jovanovic,
Regarding your question about =SE= digital service EcoStruxure IT Expert: I doubt that the developers do this (draw a room layout with all the racks and then to draw each rack layout, etc). Since the purpose of the EcoStruxure IT Expert digital service is similar to the goal of the DCE software (see Eric Clark comment).
...I am pretty sure it should be possible in DCO.
This is true for DCO software. In addition, you will be interested to know that a new =SE= digital service EcoStruxure IT Advisor is already preparing for release (see resource https://ecostruxureit.com/ecostruxure-it-advisor/). The purpose of this new digital service is similar to that of the DCO software, for example, draw a room layout with all the racks and then to draw each rack layout, etc.
What confuses me is the status of devices in the Device Support feature page (http://sxwhelpcenter.ecostruxureit.com/devices). Most of listed devices are supported in DCE, some are supported in DCO and very few are supported in EcostruxureIT.
This is also true for the EcoStruxure IT Expert digital service. Since this digital service is officially open for use quite recently and support for =SE= native devices is being implemented first of all, and 3rd party devices last.
With respect.

They keep these functions separate so that you have to run multiple applications to get a complete picture of your environment.
DCE is used to monitor and maintain the health of the environment in real time - as well as provide historical context and trending and all that.
DCO is used for capacity planning and inventory management
The two should be combined - or should share information - or something - they've kept them this way for a decade or more and I'm sure most customers have always wanted a single pane of glass, they'd probably sell more DCO if it was.
