Hi Team,
Customer is going to install DCO on a Red Hat environment and has read the following on our website:
An active RHEL subscription with access to the below channels
RHEL EUS Server Load Balancer channel, RHEL EUS Optional channel
Do they need to have access to these channels even for a single node DCO environment ?
Regards,
Cees

Hi Cees,
The answer would be yes, I believe the access to the channels is part of the installation requirements.

The Server Load Balancer should only be needed for DCO cluster mode. But EUS Optional is required by both standalone and cluster.

Hi Mads Mætzke Tandrup I can see the subscription-manager list Which switch do we use to check before we try the install? See 5.1.2 at https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Subscription_Management/1/html/RHSM/viewing-no...

I'm not familiar with the UI. Maybe Frank Vissing or Allan Kristensen - Schneider Electric knows.

Hi, You can run subscription-manager repos | grep rhel-6-server-optional-rpms to verify that the proper subscription is active, if not you can enable it using sudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-6-server-optional-rpms Hope this answers your question
