QSFP to 4x SFP breakout cable in ITA network management [routing]
Hi!
Building a cluster with H700/A300 connected to a Dell QSFT switch. Problem is using QSFP to SFP breakout cable. I'm connictig multiple SFP port to a single QSFP port.
How can I enter this route info in ITA and assing 1 QSFP port to multiple SFP ports?
ie: First port of each node in the chassis (4) are connected to the port 1 of the switch. Can someone explain to me how to enter the routes and the way to configure ports in ITA?
thank you very much and let me know if my example is clear enough.
Using the existing "Generic Fanout Network Cable 1-4" cable genome or just copy and modify an existing cable genome and check the fanout cable box. Then you can assign port ends and speed.
Then use either the network connection tool, specify the cable genome and make each connection or use the network management tab, and specify the cable#port with {} {QSFP to SFP FanOut 1:4 Network Cable#2}>Nexus 3048//QSFP:QSFP Regular:1
