Hello,
I purchased two NetBotz 550 Appliances and when I tried to configure a USB GSM Modem for either of them, I am unable to connect to either of them via Serial Configuration Utility. I must mention that I've tried on both Windows 7 and Mac OsX El capitan (via Wine), but with no luck. Also, I updated to the latest FTDI drivers for both Operating Systems, both with no luck. In both cases I get a "No appliances detected".
Any ideas of solving this ?
Many thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter!
Serial configuration utility is used for network settings of Netbotz appliance (such IP address, network mask etc). You can use terminal program like Putty, Hyper terminal to do this.
To configure GSM modem you should use Advanced View software.
