Power Mater association

This question was originally posted on DCIM Support by Momen Samy on 2019-02-21

Hi,

Kindly i have a problem in associating 216 power meters from DCE to DCO, the problem is that i cannot see the names of the power meters in DCO so i can differentiate which power meter shall be associated to which rack.

I have already created a custom property key (Name) in DCE to give names for each power meter, however i cannot see this custom property field (Name) in DCO.

Please see below screen shot:

Hello Momen.

I do not believe DCE based custom properties are shared with DCO, The data which is typically shared is power (kw and/or amps) and sensor data like temp and humidity. The other based details of the device would be its make/model, name (hostname), ip address and serial number.

Regards
