Have anybody experience or best practices in setting the user authentication in Portal to be done by Active Directory?

Hi Christian,

I have done AD authentication server configuration and my learnings are that you need to have and AD server admin to support in binding AD specific values to the Portal settings.

Also the field "Authentication Search Filter" is a bit tricky in my mind. For the standard Portal configuration  you need to set (cn=@screen_name@) in order to login using the screenname in portal and i used cn from AD which made the most sense in our setup (domain username)

The Authentication configuration in the portal is found in "Control Panel"->"Portal Settings"->"Authentication (found in right side menu) and then choosing LDAP.
