Panduit P24D40M with additional sensors

Hi all,

facing the issue with setting up alarms for additional sensors that are connected to Panduit PDU P24D40M. All three sensors (temperature, humidity, leakage rope) are visible once you log into PDU. But they are not visible once I add PDU to DCE (8.0.0). How can it be solved? Thank you all for help

Hello @MantasMik,

As a first step, ensure that you are using the most recent version of the Panduit PDU DDF.  This file can be downloaded from https://ddf.ecostruxureit.com

Once downloaded, you can add it to the DCE Desktop Client under the Device Menu > SNMP Device Communication Settings > Device Definition Files.

Deleting the device and rediscovering is the quickest way to see if the missing sensors will show up, but this will also clear out any historical data for the existing sensors that may have accumulated.

If the sensors still do not show up, I recommended submitting a Asset Definition (DDF) Ticket: https://app.ecostruxureit.com/request/

Provide the following information:

- Manufacturer

- Model

- MIB

- SNMP walk file: https://community.se.com/t5/DCE-FAQ/How-to-create-a-device-walk-file-for-Data-Center-Expert/ta-p/446...

- SNMP OIDs that you wish to have monitored with any additional details on them

- DCE Serial Number

- DCE MAC Address
