Hi Santosh, Could you please explain a little more in detail which PUE is not updating and where. Is it the "PUE Dashboard", "Energy Efficiency" or the Struxureware Portal that is being used? /Søren

Hi Santosh,
After rethinking I'm pretty sure what you mean is that the PUE seen in the Struxureware Portal is not the same as seen in the DCO server dashboard.
This is something that has been discused earlier here:
Please be aware that the PUE in the KPI ticker and KPI portlet are showing the daily KPI value for PUE and not a "live" PUE value.

Hi Santosh,
I believe we had checked this issue for your site and found out, you are not using Energy Efficiency Module for displaying PUE and you wanted to display the PUE dial in Portal using the Portlet which requires EE system. To display the Instantaneous PUE you can use the Iframe object and place the same into Portal, I had mailed you the snapshot of the same as well, that will resolve your pending concern.

Vineet K. Sarin Are you able to forward the details on? I have a similar situation where I have the raw data for calculating PUE but no way of doing the division between two sensor points and displaying in DCE, Portal or DCO (without it being a state wide value)

Hi James with the case for Santosh he never had EE installed but had the Capacity module and Operations to atleast display the PUE there. So the only part he wanted was to display that dashboard inside Portal, which can be easily done using iframe. If in case you are targeting custom field creation like taking into account two variables and adding, multiplying etc and then displaying them somewhere then you have to use XML programming and there are better custom portlets for liferay which can help you do that faster...

Vineet K. Sarin Not having delved into the Liferay portlet world, do you know if there is a portlet that can take two values (DCE sensor values) and apply a mathematical equation to them?

Hi James there is a Portlet which you can use, see the following website and that can give you many ideas...http://xmlportletfactory.org/ Also if you are well versed with XML scripts or Web programming then you can use the Web content Portlet available inside the Portal to create enriched webpages that can accept values from different variables.
