Hi All,
I have been experiecing disconnects to my wireless sensors on a Netbotz 750 appliance and having to reboot the appliance to re-establish connectivity.
Seeing that there is newer firmware (v5.2.2) I decided to upgrade from v5.2.0.
My issue is that the 5.2.2 firmware was transfers successfully to the appliance but there has not been any progress. After 30min I still have a very small progress bar. Is this expected? Any suggestions?

Hi @KevinK ,
I've seen some of these upgrades take that long and even longer. Assuming you've not lost network connection, I suggest letting it go. Perhaps after a time, opening another browser window to launch to the device and check to see if it shows on-line. Maybe the current window isn't updating.

Hi @APC_Steve ,
After an hour and half absolutely nothing was happening. We did open it from a different browser and the appliance was still active. It would open and still show the progress bar as it was initially.
We agreed with the client that it may be stuck. We were able to connect via SSH and rebooted the appliance. We are still waiting for all services to restart and see if we are still able to access v5.2.0
Then perhaps set the logging to debug and capture some logs for the initial issue (wireless sensor disconnects) to be investigated.
Open to suggestions.

Hi @KevinK ,
I don't think there's anything in the logs that would refer to an upgrade simply going slowly.
Are you local to the device. I've had issues myself if upgrading over VPN for instance.
Re-download and make sure you run a checksum. Of course none of this matters unless you can access the UI.
If not, perhaps resetting the unit to defaults as per the following k-base may also be helpful:

Hi @APC_Steve ,
The logs would specifically be for the issue we wanted to resolve with the firmware update.
The appliance is consistently not getting updates from the wireless sensors and the client has been rebooting it to re-establish comms.
It is also showing an alarm relating to the DDF in DCE.
We will not try another upgrade yet until we are comfortable.
Just a note; The appliance came back online after the reboot and it is still running on 5.2.0. This was after a total 1h30min since the upgrade had been kicked off.
