I recently inherited a netbotz 550 that does nothing but make a fast clicking sound when plugged in. Any ideas?

Hi John,
There are no serviceable parts on the 550. If there is a hardware issue, it will need to be replaced. That being said, please verify there is nothing connected to the unit (no sensors or other wires). Swap out the power cord and plug it into a different power source. You can also try connecting via USB after that initial test. If the unit still clicks and will not power on, it would seem to require a replacement.
