Hi All,
Is it possible for 5x users to log into either the web interface or Advanced View concurrently on a Netbotz 450 or 570 device?
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
There are no coded maximum limits to the number of logins to a NetBotz appliance. The network throughput can slow down if you have 5 people all trying to watch real-time camera images at 30 frames a second while 10 users looking at sensor data won't see any issues. Also, if the appliance is constantly sending alert data to DCE or multiple e-mails with images, it will take up bandwidth and could cause slower connections for users. It is all based on the network, the configuration (physical and otherwise), and what the users are looking at / trying to do.

Hate to answer a question with a question, but why do five people need to login to a netbotz concurrently? Do you have DCE per chance? If you do, then you can have as many users as you want create their own custom dashboard that will show all of the variables/sensors that are on the netbotz.

Thanks both.
I'm a little unsure as to why there need to be so many concurrent users too, but they only want to look at alarm status and sensor data so that answers the question.
No DCE, it's just a Netbotz with multiple sensor pods

Hi David, I guess they wanted to allow for as much as they could and leave the limiting to you. You can change password and only provide it to the one or 2 people that you want to allow access.
