Hi All,
I have just updated the Firmware on my NetBotz 755 from v5.2.1 to v5.3.5 and I am now getting an Alarm on DCE v7.9.0 that says "Device Status may be inaccurate because an attempt to transfer a device definition file (DDF) failed."
The NetBotz are located at Remote Sites and I performed the upgrades via the web client.
This alarm was not there prior to the firmware update.
Kindly advise on how to resolve this?
Thank you in advance!

Hello,
try to verify on DCE > device > netbotz appliance communication settings > netbotz appliance credentials (you must have web user)
also on device > snmp device communication settings > device file transfer settings > netbotz ip with protocol SCP and use root (you can try on ssh if you can login with root...also is possible to not have a root password and you must set it )
or update to DCE 8.0.0 which does not require SCP connection and DDF can be retrieved via http/s
