NetBotz 4.x: how to remove non-existent sensors from AV, with N/A readings?

Hi all!

On the above mentioned problem, unfortunately, I was able to find here on EcoStruxure IT only one solution -- it is resetting the NetBotz appliance to the factory default settings. For example, an instruction on how to do this was published in topic .

Problem essence: in sensor ports 1 and 2 of NetBotz-450 appliance with 4.6.1 firmware were connected of the temperature and humidity sensors AP9335TH. Then these two sensors were physically disconnected and the NetBotz appliance was turned off. Then, dry contacts NBES0304 were connected to the sensor ports 1, 2 and 3 and the NetBotz appliance was turned on.

But in the AV interface, the temperature and humidity sensors have remained. Of course their readings are displayed as N/A and for some reason they can not be removed:

We tried to disconnect all dry contacts from the sensor ports 1, 2 and 3. But above the Remove button for temperature and humidity sensors was also not active (but was active for disconnected dry contacts). Updating the NetBotz appliance to the current version 4.6.2 and restarting it did not solve the problem.

Is the only solution to this problem is to reset NetBotz appliance to the factory default settings?

Very thanks for the support.

Hi all!

Thanks to Steven Marchetti answer in post , I remotely was able to successfully solve the above mentioned problem with the NetBotz-450 appliance. I.e., I was able to remotely reset the device to the factory default settings (of course except for the basic IP settings) and even without reconnecting all external sensors.

To do this, as indicated in the above post, I entered the browser at address http://your_netbotz_address/unconfig. Confirmations of the reset to the factory default command are not needed, and within a few minutes the device rebooted and switched back to online mode with initial settings and all normal connected external sensors without of non-existent sensors in the AV with N/A readings. After that, I also remotely could normally perform all necessary configurations of the NetBotz-450 and rediscover it in the DCE-server. Great result 😀.

I hope this will be useful for many people remotely working with NetBotz-4.x appliances.

With respect.
