This appears to be an ongoing issue that is yet to be resumed. For various reasons We have several racks that have more the a single rack mounted ATS. When trying to connect the input power to the second ATS the error "Rack PDU is already supplying rack ATS".
I cant thing of a valid reason for the system not to allow this configuration. In 1 rack we have several telecom devices that are all single PSU devices, i need 3 rack mounted ATS to support them, all 3 ATS are supplied from the rack PDUs. why cant i accurate reflect this configuration in DCO?

Hi Andrew Stoakes
I was able to replicate the behaviour using off line DCO v 8.2.12-80090. I think you'll need a DCO engineering statement. Seems like a flaw to me but could be by design, for some not immediately apparent reason. Sorry I couldnt help more
Cheers

Hi Andrew,
It is by design only one rack ATS can be connected to pair of rack pdu's. It is simply because of the predicted power and power sold estimated load strategy, they treat primary and secondary rack pdus's as if they were paired. One rack pdu cannot be paired multiple times.
A possible workaround might be to model one ATS with the combined sum of the outlets of the other ATSs. Add the other ATSs as "dummy" ATSs, that is without connecting any equipment to them. This way the inventory reports will be valid.
Kind regards
