Hi Team,

I have client who is looking for Bulding Management Solution which can manage

1. HVAC Equipment: The status of the HVAC Equipment shall be mounted as well the temperature and humidity of the server rack area.

1. UPS Equipment: The status of the UPS equipment shall be monitored as well as the remaining battery autonomy.

1.  Early Detection fire alarm system: The status of the fire alarm detectors and control panel shall be monitored

1. Access Control System: The status of the access control system shall be monitored for unauthorized intrusion.

1. Diesel Generator: The status of the generator shall be monitored as well as fuel level, oil level and temperature, battery status, etc.

1. Processors: The processor in the servers and network devices shall be monitored for CPU utilization. Current utilization shall be compared against user-specified warning and critical threshold.

1. File System: each file system should be monitored for the amount of file system space used, which is compared to user defined warning and critical threshold.

1. Log Files: Logs should be monitored to detect faults in the operating system, the communication sub system and its applications. The function should also analyze the files residing on the host for specified string patterns.

1. System Processes: The system Management function should provide real-time collection of data from all system processes. This should identify whether or not an important process has stopped unexpectedly. Critical process should be automatically restarted using the system management function.

1. Memory: the system management function should monitor memory utilization and available swap space.

1. Event Log: User-defined events in the security, system, and applications event logs must be monitored. 

1. Remote access (centralized): The system can be managed centrally

1. Integration with 3rd party equipment: “Open” protocols allow the BMS and third party equipment to exchange data which improves control and management of the plant so that they can be fully integrated with the other site building services.

A messaging solution shall be supplied and installed to submit alerts using SMS text and SMTP emailing regarding the status and alarms produced by the equipment and systems of the SDC.

I have requested to have the models of the devices to be monitored. kindly any views on how to monitor the below equipment.

1. UPS Equipment:  100 KVA  Eaton 93 E UPS Smart Online  Modular  The status of the UPS equipment shall be monitored as well as the remaining battery autonomy.

1.  Early Detection fire alarm system:  VESDA VLF by xtrails  The status of the fire alarm detectors and control panel shall be monitored

1. Access Control System: The status of the access control system shall be monitored for unauthorized intrusion.

1. Diesel Generator:  ATLAS COPCO QAS 125 The status of the generator shall be monitored as well as fuel level, oil level and temperature, battery status, etc.
