Mix HTTP/HTTPS in DCE?

Hi!

Today I experience limitations when configuring the access to the web server in DCE.

Sometimes IT Security Dep dictates having only HTTPS access, but if I select to have only HTTPS for the Public LAN access, I also have to change ALL my connected devices in the Private LAN to have HTTPS, and that will be a huge job...

Why is it not possible to configure HTTPS for the Public LAN and HTTP for the Private LAN?
WIll this be possible in future releases or is it in the Roadmap somewhere?

Hi Peter,

If you turn off HTTP access to the server, that disables HTTP in it's entirety. The client can not access the server via HTTP. This includes the private proxy that is used to tunnel through DCE to the private side devices. You simply can't access a device through DCE on port 80 (or whichever port is used) if that port is disabled. This is by design.
