Hi,
Please advise how to select and map individual rack device power connections to specific power outlets in DCO. From the device power properties the option to select Power Outlet no. for the rack pdu is not enabled.
We have Switched PDU models AP8953, AP7920, AP7921 in our setup and all are upgraded to latest firmware 6.8 in DCE.
DCO version is latest 8.3 and DCE version is 7.8.0
Thanks
Shemil

Hello Shemil
I believe the rack pdu models AP7920 and AP7921 should support outlet level information, based on the info I see in this document from the DCO 8.3 release notes
The AP8953 model does not.
To use the outlet control the above rack pdu genomes must be added to a rack. Existing rack pdu's which are in racks cannot be updated, so they must be replaced. So if you have racks with AP7920 or AP7921 rack pdus you must remove the existing rack pdu's and replace them with the same models from the genome library. Then you should be able to map them at an outlet level.

Hi Greg,
My customer has 95% AP8953 model and since its not supported I will check if I can substitute it with another supported model from the genome. Not sure if it will work.
Yes I will change AP7920 & AP7921 with the new models AP7920B & AP7921B.
Many thanks for your prompt reply.
Regards

Very good.
If support for the AP8953 model is required, it may be possible to contract support for that device with the CSP team to add support as a customer specific project.
You would need to contact the team to have this possibility scoped to make sure its feasible.
