A couple of weeks ago we replaced our UPS systems with a 4x paralel Galaxy 5500 system.
We have this system hooked up to our DCE server and everything seems to work fine.
The only issue we have is that the battery temp from the Galaxy is not shown as a temperature sensor but Other numeric. This makes thing a bit difficult to group these in a virtual sensor along with other Temp sensors.
I can't seem to find any setting where i can change this so that the battery temp is shown as a temperature sensor. Any help would be very nice.

Hi Denzel,
I believe this is working as designed. Battery temperatures on the UPS's are considered a different data group than the other temperature sensors. If the battery temperature was to be included in the average or total value of the virtual sensors, it would not give an accurate reading of the true room temperature of the data center.

Breda
