Hello all,
I have been updating our Netbotz rack monitors and so far when I come from 5.2.1 to 5.4.1.5027 (via 5.3x) I have lost access to the GUI both times.
I've run the commands to clear the database, restart clubber, and even factory reset but I can't seem to restore the web GUI. The only access I have is SSH.
I noticed that prior to the update there were three files in the landing folder (/home/root😞 config.ini, config.ini.backup and ddf.zip. Post update there is only ddf.zip and nohup.out.
config.ini contains the general settings including network and SNMP details. Is it helpful to edit that file from a working monitor and replace it there?
Or is there a better way to restore the GUI?

EMEA Tech Support helped me resolve this.
Clearing the database and factory reset didn't help.
The solution was to revert to the last working firmware:
run flip_banks
boot
In one case that was an end of it.
In the other I was left with 503 errors on the web GUI but that was resolved by clearing the database.

Also, I wondered - without the web GUI - is there anyway to roll back the last upgrade?
Something like active partition options where the previous version is in the other partition.

Hello @JLehr,
How long is it usually before a support ticket gets a response?
I gave it a nudge comment after a week or so but still nothing and that was a week ago.
Is calling them possible/better?

Hi @Hogg,
Yes, please contact your local support again. It will help to have your support ticket number available.
It's unusual that you'd be waiting so long. Apologies for that.
