Hello Ueli
By looptime I assume you are referring to how often ITA queries DCE? This information is configurable by the user in the external systems view of the DCE definition in ITA.
From the ITA desktop client if the customer opens the "system setup" menu then chooses the "external system configuration" option a window should appear with their defined external systems like DCE server(s). If they edit their DCE definition they will see a window like the below example (which contains the default values).
The "update device information every" and "update power information ever" fields define how often ITA asks DCE for device and power information respectively (in seconds). So if the customer wants ITA to request device and power data hourly instead of every 5 minutes (300 seconds), then they can change those values to 3600.
Use some care when tuning these values. If the customer's DCE server is busy, polling dce more frequently from ITA can increase the load on the DCE server.
Also, when ITA polls DCE for power data its asking for DCE for average and peak measurements since ITA's last poll, so there's no "real" value for ITA to poll DCE for updated power measurements as it should get the same/similar power results whether it polls dce every 5 minutes or longer as DCE polls are the same either way.
