Liebert RX cabinet with IS-Unity DP card DDF

Dears,

I been working in a DCE 7.5 with Vertiv Liebert RX cabinet that have IS-Unity DP card installed that have support for Modbus TCP communication.
I was use "Liebert_Distribution_Cabinet.xml", "liebert_fpc" and "liebert_fpc" but without get sensors data (just ethernet conection).
There are any specific XML for this cabinet?

Tell us please, your Vertiv Liebert RX cabinet that have IS-Unity DP card installed supported SNMP protocol? If this is the case, then you'd better download a special SNMP DDF-file libert_rxdistributioncabinet.xml from resource Device Support:

This should help you a lot.

Otherwise, I think you need to find your device, which is already supported by DCE software, on special resource Device Support. And then make there Request modification with the appropriate description of your problem. So you will be helped faster and better.

Great Yes! special SNMP DDF-file "libert_rxdistributioncabinet.xml"  works great with SNMP and this give me other idea of the think, so any question more:

• Its possible to monitor dounstream SNMP Liebert RPP while DCE report through Modbus TCP to upstream BMS system using same ethernet card and modbus enable licence?
• I need to use a second Etnertet Card (private network)?

I hope I understand you correctly.

Of course, you can connect your dounstream SNMP Liebert RPP (cooling device) to a DCE server using the SNMP protocol. In this case, you first need to check on the Device Support whether DCE software supports your dounstream SNMP Liebert RPP devices. If so, import the corresponding DDF-file, discover the devices in DCE software and get the result 😀.

There is no need for an additional Ethernet card, as well as additional licensing.

What kind of demo license for DCE software do you need?

Usually, any DCE software already has a fully functional license for 25 nodes (regardless of the protocol) + one license for video surveillance.

In this case, as far as I know, the AP95MODBUS demo license is simply not offered.

Well think that it will be more profitable for you:

• purchase AP95MODBUS license and pay for integration of DCE software with BMS;

or

• pay for the additional Modbus modules of your air conditioners, and their further connection to the BMS.

The result of the analysis may be unexpected for you 😀.
