Is there an easy way to mass add new modbus slaves to DCE

I have a need to close to load close 1000 modbus slaves across 7 modbus IP gateways. Is there an easy way to configure this in DCE?

Hi Daryl,

Sorry, no. Because there is no way to assign different DDFs to potentially different types of  slave devices, such a feature was left out. We can't simply assume all slave devices require the same DDF and, unlike with SNMP, modbus devices don't define themselves when you poll a specific register.
