Hi All!
I have an issue with incorrect measured values displayed at Power overlay. Origin thread is here.
Calculated values was fixed, but DCO continues display measured rack load values greater than about half.
Some examples:
Is there any solution to fix this issue?
I've tried to re-associate devices, but with no luck.
I can't delete and re-discover PDUs in DCE as advised by Soren,
Any ideas?

Hi Valentin, Could you elaborate a bit on the devices that are showing wrongly in DCO. Which make and model are they? Are there any of the values reported in DCO that seems to be reported in DCE (looking in the device sensor list) Would it be possible to access the DCE server? This would be needed in order to understand the data reported from DCE in more detail by inspecting the DCE webservice interface.

Hi Soren! There are APC AP7853 and AP8853 PDU's installed in racks. There is no such data in DCE sensor list, and values reported in DCO is about 1.5 times bigger than output power in DCE for inspected PDU's. It is not possible to access DCE server from Internet, but it's accessible locally. Today I found this link: http://dcimsupport.apc.com/display/public/UAOp74/Correcting+False+Power+Values+Reported+by+StruxureW... And it's seems that it's solution for our problem. But I have a question: Is it needed to upgrade DCE to version 7.2.6 before patch implementation? Now it is on 7.2.2 And in order to receive correct values we need: 1. Delete DCE from External Systems in DCO 2. Upgrade DCE to 7.2.6 3. Add DCE as External System and re-associate sensors with DCO objects.

Hi Valentin, Thanks for sharing the RMPDU types in use. As you mention you found the potential solution to the problem yourself. The patch will only work on v7.2.6 of DCE! (The mentioned DCE link in the page might be available on earlier versions 7.2.4+ however the functionality is not fully operational) The steps needed are 1. Upgrade DCE to 7.2.6 2. Apply patch to DCE 3. Wait for data in DCO to be adjusted. The data is adjusted over the 30 day period used in DCO for average/peak data. In general power data is stored for a year for report purpose so there the data will take longer to be corrected. Alternative 3. Remove the external system and reassociate devices in DCO. This will reset/delete all the power data and correct data will be seen shortly after (maybe a day is need to catch up on data from the last 30 days, depending on number of devices) So if it can be accepted the reassociation is not needed.

HI Søren! Did you know, is this patch included in new 7.2.7 release of DCE? Or we need to apply it when we upgrade to 7.2.6 and then upgrade to 7.2.7?

Hi Valentin, The patch it self is not included in v7.2.7 of DCE. The patch will however also work for 7.2.7 to my understanding. In v7.2.7 however there has been an update to the DDF handling these devices which should solve the problem seen. I would try upgrading to v7.2.7 and make sure the latest DDF is used for affected devices (might need rediscovery if DCE is upgraded). Otherwise once v7.2.7 is running I would apply the above patch to the system.
