Hi Allan, As an alternative and without involving any extra cost, you can use the equipment browser, set the desired columns and export it as CSV file (the serial number field is available here, among all other device-related fields).

Allan,
To customize any reports, which would include adding fields that are not on the report, it would require an insight license. Information on Insight can be found at the links below:
Best Regards,

Hi Allan,
If you only want to update a existing report with a serial number is another option to have us create a custom report for you. Insight is mainly use for customers who wants to do a lot of editing in reports or create their own reports. Please also understand that Insight requires a good knowledge of the BIRT reporting framework for editing and creating reports.
But let me know if you want to find out more about the possibility for creating a custom.
Thanks
Jesper

Hi Jesper, please can you advise on any costs involved to do this? I am using the standard inventory report exported to csv and just need the serial field to be included.

Please call me Guillaume :)))) Note that we even have solutions if you need such CSV file to be automatically exported on a regular basis, or customised to fit another system's importer.
