ITA v9.3.4 - Power Path Configuration without a UPS

Hi All,

I have configured a Power Path for a client that does not have a UPS yet. Power comes directly from the Grid into a Power Panel that then feeds into a Remote Distribution Panel and finally into Rack PDUs.

Following this setup, I am getting a recommendation "Rack is without Rack PDU or a Rack PDU is not powered" on all the Racks.

Is there anything that can be done to address this recommendation?

See attached Power Path.

TIA.

I'm not able to replicate the behavior so far. Of the eight racks in the power path overview are all 8 showing that recommendation? Can you share a screenshot of the power view from one of those racks? I assume their rack pdu's are actually connected to the PDP-A and B devices?

Sorry, I take it  back, I hadn't waited long enough for the recommendation to generate.

I also see that experience. It appears that recommendation expects the rack pdu to be attached to a PDU/RPP not a power panel.

Try setting power properties on your power panels like this example in my below screenshot. You of course would want to customize these values to reflect actual input amps and voltage for your power panels, so my below values may not reflect yours.

After setting and saving you may need to wait some time for the recommendation to clear, try then closing and re-opening the room to see if the recommendation remains afterward.

Regards

Greg Sterling
