How to use DCO API?

This question was originally posted on DCIM Support by Ivan Polchenko on 2017-08-10

Hello,

How do you assign permissions to users?
The provided documentation on the POST users/{username}/permissions operation is incomplete. Please provide example.

[ { "id": "string", "type": "string" } ]

what goes where?
semantically the documentation within that API docs, uses differ names for IDs and Types, etc. very confusing.

Also please add GET operation on

users/{username}/permissions

For first part of the question below screenshot has the answer.

If the below POST method  is executed the permission gets added to the user which is mentioned, If permission is already added this POST method will fail.

DCIM Support please look into the second part.
