I have successfully managed to get a multitech modem to pair with the Netbotz 450 after downgrading from 4.5 to 4.3. thanks to the forum for this nugget !!
My outstanding issue is that i cannot see how to get threshold triggers to send out an SMS. The application log just reports that email failed.

Hi Steve,
Please below, you also need to set the macros to your preferences and add SIM numbers to recieve the alerts.
When setting up this alert action please use the wireless short message and not the short message email.

Felix

Hi Steve,
When you created the alert action, what option did you choose? Adding a wireless modem should provide a new alert action option. How did you configure this exactly? What model modem are you using? "No targets to send to" would seem to indicate that it's trying to send but does not have a recipient.

Thanks Guys Not sure I am getting the hang of the forum on accepting your answers as correct but thanks. I had default profile selected hence alerts being punted to non-existent email. On to my next post now as the modem has suddenly stopped sending sms
