After logging in to the 550 using Advanced View, go to the configuration screen and "Pod, Pelco Camera & Rack Access PX-HID Sharing"
Click "Add Remote Device and put in the IP of the 500. I suggest using IP rather than hostname. Use an administrative user name and password for the 500:
You can then select the pods you want to share:
If you're asking to share the 550's pods using the 500 as host, that has not been tested (nor is it supported) and since the 550 supports sensors and pods that are unsupported on the 500, I would not suggest attempting it.
