Hi,
I know the username and password i am entering are correct, however the system is telling me that the credentials are wrong.
How do i reset these credentials without having to reinstall a new DCO server?

Hi Martin,
If I understand correctly it is concerning the log in to DCO webmin interface, right?
If yes, then please see the instructions here: Resetting user password on the DCO server
Kind regards

Dear Martin Parks,
This problem has already been discussed repeatedly on EcoStruxure IT (see, for example Password Reset for DCO user client, Recovery password DCO 7.4 and DCO password recovery). And as Jef Faridi wrote in post Password Reset for DCO user client:
I will contact you (by direct email) soon and we will resolve this off-line. But I wish to let you/Community know that this is not a usual support, it is expected that the customer(s) take the responsibility of taken care of the system credentials.
Therefore, you need to wait for help from EcoStruxure IT Support team.
Always glad to answer your questions.

Jef Faridi
Thank you for the reply, i have ran through the above, and it appears that the account which i initially set up is no longer present.
Is there a command i can use to list the accounts which are present on the system? this will help me identify what the account name has been changed too.
Martin

Hi Martin,
You are welcome, The file "/etc/passwd" should contain the possible user name(s), so you can use less or cat to display its content:
cat /etc/passwd
(note: this file may not be manually modified!)
Kind regards

Hi Martin,
Short update to share with all that issue is resolved - you've managed to restore the whole server from a backup rather than just the database.
Kind regards
