How do we see and alter the Air flow of genome object ?

I have a 6513. Cisco has this switch pulling power supply air from the port side to the panel side - I consider the side with the ports to be the front and will refer to it that way going forward. Cisco has also designed this switch with the blade airflow moving from right to left as you face the front.

DCO incorrectly states that this switch is pushing hot air into the cold aisle - it isn't. The way it is mounted - that side to side air is unfortunate - the switch is pulling in warm,  air and exhausting it into the hot side of the cabinet. There is no violation of hot/cold isolation.

I cannot find any settings in the object itself where this is configured, but something is configured because I can see the arrows going right to left in the CFD.

How do I fix :

A: the incorrect assumption by DCO that this is somehow pulling hot air and pushing it into the cold aisle?

B: correct any genome object that might have different airflow from what is created (ie: several switch models can be purchased to be mounted in front or back of cabinet with the airflow appropriate )

Help would be appreciated, my DCO is essentially useless due to false reports of airflow problems, among other things.

And if this isn't possible - please create a feature request

And if a feature request is created - please publish the feature number and a way for us to track it.

Hi Eric,

I have done few tests, but could not get notification that should say "switch is pushing hot air into the cold aisle", wondering perhaps the notification related to the orientation of the rack and its neighboring rack(s). Would you mind to illustrate a reproducible setup and the displayed notification, thanks.

Kind regards
