How do I monitor rate of increase in current?

DCE has a function to allow an alarm tied to a rate of change in temperature.

So the function to look at a number and compare it to the number in 5 minutes exists. There is nothing special about temperature numbers.

I'd like to be able to monitor the current on a PDU or breaker module to look out for sudden changes. 

The situation is this - a cabinet typically operates at a current draw of 6-8 amps per phase... phase 3 has a fairly sudden jump of 3 amps and it stays there for a few days.... 

even if that isn't causing a problem with my capacity, it is something that would be good to know, if I could get an alert. Right now, I can run a report and look at a trend graph every day, or I can export data and do some manipulation.... 

But, I don't have any function in DCE that will help me reduce the laborious processes mentioned... I'd like to see a function that allows me to set an alert for sustained load changes that are out of the normal.

Do you mean the threshold values Rate of increase and Rate of decrease? If so, then why can't you use the same threshold values for current or power? For example, I have been doing this for a long time.
