How do I cancel configurations that have not completed yet?

I have a few that seem to be frozen and I can’t send another push unless the current one finishes.

Dustin,

Are these configurations for devices with firmware version 6.X?  You should be able to clear them out by rebooting the server.  The configuration of these devices will hang depending on what you are trying to push out to them as 6.X devices require a different configuration push method for users and some specific user settings.

I would recommend contacting your local technical support to have them verify your software support contract to receive upgrades to come up to version 7.3.1 which resolved issues with not being able to push out device configuration updates to 6.X firmware devices.

Regards,

Cory

Dustin, You will need to reach out to your local technical support to have them verify software support to receive the upgrades. The upgrade path to come up to the most recent version (7.3.1), from version 7.2.0 is: 7.2.1, 7.2.2, 7.2.4, 7.2.5, 7.2.6, 7.2.7, & 7.3.1. Regards, Cory

Dustin, I have copied out the instructions from the 7.3.1 upgrade, the process is the same for other versions as well. Regards, Cory 1) Please make sure to perform a full backup before launching the product update. 2) Download the upgrade zip file above. The restore ISO is not required for the upgrade but you may want it for later use if a re-installation is required. See instructions below for restoring StruxureWare Data Center Expert. 3) Extract/expand the upgrade zip file into a separate directory on the hard drive of the system that will be running the StruxureWare Data Center Expert Console. 4) Login to your StruxureWare Data Center Expert v7.2.7 or v7.3.0 server with full administrative access. Now select "Updates" from the menu bar then "Apply Server Update". 5) Click on "Import..." and look into the subdirectory where the extracted files were placed. The directory should contain two folders, "BW" and "NBCCore", and an index file, "nbcpkg.lst". 6) Select the "nbcpkg.lst" file and click "Open". 7) The Upgrade/New Packages table will update indicating that there is an update available for the StruxureWare Data Center Expert server. Check the "Install/Upgrade" option for the package(s) you wish to upgrade. Click the Install Selected button to start the upgrade for the selected package(s). You will be prompted to confirm if you would like to proceed with the upgrade. Click Install Update to start the upgrade process. Warning: The upgrade procedure may take between 15 and 45 minutes depending on the amount of sensor data and events that are stored on the server. Do not manually reboot the server during the upgrade process. 😎 When the file transfer completes, StruxureWare Data Center Expert will restart and disconnect your console connection. You can point a web browser to the StruxureWare Data Center Expert server for status. 9) When the update is complete, point a web browser to the StruxureWare Data Center Expert server, and select Download Client.
