GSM modem connectivity issue with 570

Hello,
I have installed a GSM gateway of multi tech (model no # MTCBA-G2-U). Which is connected with rack monitor 570. I am facing an issue during its configuration. Please check the setting of this modem. If any thing is wrong please share the correct setting.
I have attached the snapshot for your kind reference.

We are using the GSM modem to send sms. We had the same issue - losing connectivity to the modem.

We identified the issue to a faulty modem. When we connected the multi-tech modem, we selected the correct (multi-tech Multimodem GPRS) model using the Serial Devices Icon. Afterwards, we verified the configs under all tabs - ( Basic, Advanced and Status) of SMS icon.

Note, Status tab displays the signal strength to your ISP, a good signal is important.
