EcoStruxure IT Gateway installation on WinServer
Hi all,
Want to check if anyone have a solution with installing the EIT gateway application on Windows Server 2019 that already have services using port 443, as during the default installing process, it states this port is already in use, however I can use alternate port but this could create issues with connectivity.
The reason i ask this is because I have a Windows Server with PME installed which utilizes port 443 already.
Would anyone have any recommendations on modifying IIS to which allow both applications on the single server ?
In order to run them on the same server you would need to use different ports as 2 servers can't utilize the same ports for listening from 2 different web servers. This is why during the installation of the Gateway you would have been prompted to select a different port. The caveat of installing 2 services on the same server would be that you would need to connect to one of them such as https://192.168.100.50:9090 or something other for ITE.
