I have an eaton 9120 6KVA that is to be monitored via the ITGateway however it is coming up with the following message
A UPS device was detected but could not be uniquely identified
|
I've downloaded the Eaton ddf file but cannot find where to upload into the gateway.
Thanks

Hi Graeme,
In order to connect to a device, the Gateway must be able to apply a unique identifier. Most of the time, this is the serial number. I suspect that the device doesn't have the serial number available over SNMP. If you could click on Help on the top right corner of the Gateway, then submit a ticket we can gather the information we need to troubleshoot.
Regarding uploading the DDF file, this feature is currently only in DCE. You cannot upload individual DDFs in the Gateway at the moment.
Thanks,
Jake
