Current have multiple NBWS100T and NBWS100H sensors having the same MAC address. Serial numbers are unique for each sensor. Sensors are at different locations and separate NetBotz. Will having duplicate MAC addresses cause issues for the NetBotz and/or StruxureWare Data Center Expert.

Hi Barry,
Each should have unique serial number and mac but the serial number in itself should not be an issue for operation especially if they are in different locations. That being said, they should not have the same serial number and I'd be curious to know how many have this issue?
If these are part of the previous issue which we spoke about and I believe you are dealing with a support rep and they have the 000000 mac address as shown here:
I would look to potentially get them replaced. That mac address has somehow been reset and will not work. I believe they were just under warranty and if so, we should replace them for you.
Steve.

Hi Steve, Thanks again for your response to my post. Did you mean "they should not have the same MAC address" in the second sentence. So far we've found 5 sets of sensors that have the same MAC. Appears the sets are temp and humidity not same type of sensor with dup MACs. The dup MAC sensors are not having the same issue as the sensors with failed firmware updates.
Thanks again,
Barry

Hi Barry, I saw both serial and mac mentioned and I had planned to say that they should both be unique. If you're still dealing with Andrew in support, can you please get him those mac addresses? Steve
