Hi All,
I have a strange occurrence of getting a NB250 dry contacts to register as device inputs within data centre expert! DCE version 7.4.2 and NB250 firmware is 6.4.5.
I have requested device scans to reload the inputs from the NB250, however this doesn't collect these inputs. We need to get this one working as we alert and monitor centrally not from end nodes, as they SNMP trap there alerts.
Any help appreciated.

Good morning.
I duplicated your issue and found out same result.
I also contacted software team and it was indeed a DDF concern as advised by Bala on his reply.
Let's wait for the next DDF update and this should be resolved.

1.Discover the netbotz 250 as SNMP device in DCE
2.Contact tech support with your DCE's software support contract to get upgrade for your DCE.

Sorry DCE is actually version 7.4.2 the current release. Also sadly I avoid our local APAC Support as shifted to Manila, away from a Sydney contract, the support there has yet to pickup in the correct way. Hence I have found much more useful information from using DCIM forum, and also getting additional support from other users, and Schneider Support.

Thanks for that, and still no more update from APAC support.
Waiting this long for a APC DDF file for a APC product is not acceptable, for what we pay for support.

Dear Matthew,
If possible, please upload the recent attached NBRK0250 DDF in DCE software and see if your issue gets fixed.
To import the attached DDF file:
Main menu->Device->SNMP Device Communication Settings->Device Definition Files->Add/Update Definitions
If you still see the issue, then please raise your request with DDF team here.

We are looking forward to a DDF file update, strange that this was missed on testing prior to the NB250 release.
Will the DDF file be available for download directly from the DDF update server?
