Hi,
I'm trying to enable SOCKS5 on our DCE server. We have the port open and can connect but get no traffic when connecting. Our server is setup with only 1 IP address and does not have the private network configuration tabs in the menu.
Please confirm, does the server require the private network IP address for the SOCKS5 proxy to work?
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
The SOCKS5 Proxy is mainly used in DCE to enable a secure connection to any devices on the private NIC of DCE. If all of your devices are on the public NIC, then this may not meet your needs.
