Hello, Our customer have a problem with their UPS devices. They get "Device status may be inaccurate because an attempt to transfer a device definition file (DDF) failed." alarm for every UPS. I know there are a lot of post about this but couldn't find a solution. They opened their FTP SCP ports. We configured the device file transfer settings. But still get the same alarm. They have
SYCF160KH-Symmetra PX and SY500K500DL-PD UPS. Expert version is 7.4.3. Any ideas how to solve it? And how can I find firmware upgrades for the UPS? There is a website but it looks outdated and I couln't find upgrades for UPSes. Thanks in advance, |

Dear Erhan Yasar,
This is a long-known problem, that requires updating NMC2 firmware (not UPS firmware).
For example, from the latest Release Notes DCE v7.7.1.pdf:
What NMC2 firmware do the above UPSs have?
To obtain the latest NMC2 firmware for the above 3phUPSs, you need to contact the =SE= local technical support service.
With respect.
