Hi,
Recently our DCE is getting a lot of communication error due to SSL Certificate Error problem which I believe it is due to expired SSL certificate for Netbotz device.
May I know how can I resolve the issue without having to delete it from the DCE and rediscover it again.
Regards,
Francis

Dear Francis Thong,
From your question:
Recently our DCE is getting a lot of communication error due to SSL Certificate Error problem which I believe it is due to expired SSL certificate for Netbotz device.
If you have such a suspicion, then check it out. How to do this is described in Viewing and working with SSL certificates in depth.
If your suspicions are justified, then you need to generate new certificates on the side of NetBotz devices. If you mean NetBotz-4.x appliances, then how to do this is described in Creating a Certificate Signing Request (CSR).
I hope this helps you a lot.
With respect.

In the CSR document, it states that
"Be sure the appliance is registered with DNS and you can ping it by Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)"
How to do it without the FQDN ?

Dear Francis Thong,
If your NetBotz appliance is not registered even on the local DNS (i.e., it responds only by IP-address, not by hostname or FQDN), then it is also possible to generate a certificate (self-signed). And such a certificate will also be valid and can be successfully imported into DCE software.
With respect.

So what is the step to generate a certificate for Netbotz using IP address only ?

No the issue is still unresolved. I need detail instruction showing me how to do it.
As mentioned previously, the NetBotz is not registered on local DNS. It responds only by IP.
