Is it possible to change the IP Address of a Device that is already discovered and in use in DCE without having to re-discover it and loosing all that sensor data history?
For example, we have a UPS and need to change the IP address but don't want to lose all the history data.
Thanks
Craig

Hi Craig,
What you are asking to do is not possible, as when you change the IP address this is essentially a new device to the DCE server. What we have done in the past, is kept the old device but placed it into maintenance mode and added a comment to say that this now related to the new IP.
Kind Regards

We upgraded to DCE 7.6.0 and this is supposed to be possible. Looking for assistance on how to do this.
