And then make sure the already existing user (apc in my case) or the new user, is added to the "wheel" group, and Save:
Note: "root" log in to server has been disabled long time ago, so avoid using "root" as user name.
If you need to change the existing IP settings, then log in to server webmin interface, and go to System > Network Configuration, and select the options (such as Network Interfaces for IP change, Routing and gateway, etc.).
If the network configuration has not been carried out during the installation, then I would go for re-installing the software and making sure that it's properly configured.
