Hi,
Previous version OF DCE, when your device changes ip, you will need to rediscover the device and add into DCE. This 'existing device' will be seen as new device in DCE and you will lost the device data, if you delete the device with its old IP.
For new DCE, you can change your device IP under device settings and the data logging will continue with the new IP.
Hope this helps.

When did that become an option? In 7.6.0?

Hi
if im going to change ip address of a device, i have to discover the new ip and delete the other one. is that correct?
the only thing that remains is history with new Dce.
but i have to re-create all the threshold

Hi Gianluca,
No, you do not re-discover the device. As Law TJ mentioned, you simply need to change your device IP under device settings. If you delete the device and re-add it or re-add it under the new IP, you will either lose the old data or not be able to sync the old and new data, you'd have 2 devices.
You simply go to the device scan settings and replace the old IP with the new IP:
Each device must be done individually in this dialog box.
Stephen Wellings, yes it is new to 7.6.
Thanks,
Steve
