Data Center Expert report function

I have many power meters which are collection the readings form SE PM3250 meters. Some of the energy readings are added together with the virtual sensor function (total energy). I have scheduled the report creation.

• My first question is that, when the DCE creates the report (which interval is the last month) it request all current data from the devices via Modbus, or it is using the readings which are collected by the DCE server? When I look such a report the time stamp line shows 23:59:59.

• My second question is related with the scheduled report name. When the report file is saved it is using name like 10-01-20-070000_fXR3AGJr.txt

It is possible that the report name has the same name as the saved report name is in the DCE?

  • Data Center Expert uses its stored values for the sensors when generating reports.

• My second question is related with the scheduled report name. When the report file is saved it is using name like 10-01-20-070000_fXR3AGJr.txt  It is possible that the report name has the same name as the saved report name is in the DCE?
  • It is not currently possible to do so.  I have added this post to an enhancement request and notified product management.
