Hi!
Anyone can help me?
I`m trying to do a backup in DCE version 7.8.1,, but, when I try to test mount I receive the message : "The Share was unable to be mounted, Please Check your settings"
i`m attaching below the images from dce backup and windows share.

HI Silvio!
You don't need to use $ symbol in share field, just share name as it printed in folder properties.
I'd recommend to create special folder for backups and do not use root directory since it is often under administrator's restrictions.
Also your user should have proper permissions on this folder.

Also, check out if your window's SMB v1 share protocol is enabled?
Alternatively, you may try to use NFS as another backup option.
